Constellation Terminal Protocol (CTP)

Constellation Terminal is a trust-native systems project exploring how human networks can remain coherent, creative, and ethical at scale.

At its core is the Constellation Terminal Protocol (CTP) an open coordination framework designed to model trust dynamically, preserve signal, and support meaningful collaboration in a world increasingly shaped by automation and AI. Rather than optimizing for growth or engagement, Constellation Terminal focuses on contribution, alignment, and long-term resilience.

CTP can be understood as Linux for trust-native networks: a foundational kernel that doesn’t dictate what gets built, but defines how people, identities, knowledge, and value can safely operate together. Like Linux, it is modular, inspectable, and designed to support many different expressions without becoming the product itself.

Constellation Terminal was founded by Anaïs Daly, a creative technologist and researcher working at the intersection of artistic practice, network theory, and ethical infrastructure.

Her work draws from lived experience across creative, academic, and institutional systems, alongside research into how trust, affect, and power move through networks. Rather than treating art and technology as separate domains, Constellation Terminal approaches creative practice as a form of systems research using experimentation, improvisation, and iteration to surface patterns that formal models alone cannot capture.

This perspective informs the design of CTP as both a technical and cultural framework one that treats human complexity, emotion, and intuition as essential signals rather than noise.

CTP is designed to work with these rhythms, allowing systems to adapt over time instead of breaking under scale. This logic extends into the project’s research layer, which includes affective mathematics an attempt to model emotional states, relational dynamics, and trust as measurable, evolving fields rather than static attributes.

Improvisational creative practice plays a key role here. Just as music or performance emerges through responsive interaction, Constellation Terminal treats networks as living systems shaped by timing, feedback, and resonance. Structure provides stability; improvisation enables discovery.

It is an ongoing experiment in designing the invisible structures beneath digital life so trust can be earned, meaning can persist, and collaboration can remain human.
